Abstract

Awareness of the need to invest in human capital is changing the approach of managers to doing business, which move away from the priority of the technical development of the enterprise and focus on the development of intellectual resources that form the basis of human capital.
The relevance of the topic is due to the need to find new incentives to improve the efficiency of the company, one of which is investing in human capital. The research problem is to identify the nature of the relationship between the volume of investments in human capital and the com-
pany's profit indicator. The purpose of the article is to assess the effectiveness of investments in human capital of Sberbank PJSC. The research methods are based on an econometric analysis, on the basis of the correlation index, the nature of the relationship between the volume of in-
vestments in human capital and the performance of the enterprise under study is determined, and using the Eviews software, a model is built for the dependence of Sberbank's profit on investing in human capital. As a result of the study, on the basis of the employee engagement index and a survey of employees about their views on the future in the company, their willingness to do work beyond their labor obligations, and their attitude to the corporate culture of the company, the author concludes about the state of investing in human capital in the company.
According to the results of constructing an econometric model of the dependence of the profit of PJSC Sberbank on investments in human capital, it was revealed that an increase in investment of 1 billion rubles. Leads to an increase in the company's profit by more than 6 billion ru-
bles, which allows us to conclude about the effectiveness of investing in human capital.
